Is there a way of making home auto lights come on without me pressing the stalk and also want them to come on when I unlock my car, I also want the door handle lights to stay on longer, is this possible?

You can't make the home lights come on without activating the stalk but you can set the "Welcome Lights = On" in the iDrive to make them come on when you unlock the car, along with the time which is defaulted to 40s.

I don't know - is there anything in the BDC for welcome lights? I don't think there is if I remember rightly from my e92

For welcome lights to come on, the main headlight switch (down by your knee) has to be in either Healights On or Auto lights position. Then the welcome lights and puddle lights are activated for a set period.
