On another note, I've got a bunch of crap in my garage to install. Coilovers, lip, spoiler, and soon (hopefully) wheels if I can find a set locally or a set in the classifieds I like. Does anybody here want to make some money or some pizza/beer by helping me out? If not, I'd be down to see if we could get a group discount if we schedule work together (sounds like a couple people need suspension and one dude needs an fmic)
I'm down, I have most all of the tools including air in my garage, it's only a one car garage though. I'm looking to put some bolt-ons (down-pipes, FMIC, front lip, spoiler) myself. Two sets of hands would definitly be more effective. I need a couple weeks to get the parts ordered and delivered but I'm down to set something up.

Vivid is 4 miles from my house my CLS is on their blog. I do bmw business with Goodspeed 40+miles away.

I installed CPe DP the first time around at u fix it or something off sdale rd where you can rent a lift. NO WAY would i do that project without a lift, ever. suspension would be under 2hrs if you have a lift too.

Pro tip: Take apart your trunk carpet before you try the install of the rear shocks, even the night before. its awkward.

Good to know. Goodspeed wanted 6 hours worth of labor for coil overs.... No thanks.

Yeah...I found a place that offered a much better deal that came recommended by locals. PM me for details if you're interested. We could possibly try setting up a group install day and see if they'll help out with the price even more.

Dp install is a pain. Did mine with ramps. Wouldn't wish that headache on most people... U fix it is a good idea

U fix it does have tools, but last time I was there (I did my s2000 exhaust there) they didn't have air. That was a couple of years ago.

Also it'll be cool seeing another monaco blue around!

Sorry I went here wefixitautorepair.com and yes they had air, and the bent wrenches, reverse star sockets that you'll need for DP. Owner is a really nice guy goes around helping ppl out!

Looks like WEfixit is just a shop. Ufixit is the rental bay place that has technicians on hand for help if you need it (at a charge of course).

I'm thinking about going to UFixIt to get a lift rented for some work I need to do.

Anybody have a recommendation for a good, reasonably priced paint place? I need to have my aero lip painted.

Hey for the wheels instead of reps get the oem m359 wheels the offsets and widths Will give you a better stance. I would like to hear the exhaust you choose when installed!

I'm running stock size tires that are Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position. I really like them.

Anybody local with a garage have some time to help me lower my rear coilovers a few turns? I, unfortunately, don't have the wrenches that they should've come with so hopefully somebody has a set of coilover wrenches

Revline Motorsports can do it.
But honestly, its a pretty simple DIY project if you have some time and patience. All you need is a heat gun, razor, and plastic scraper to remove the panels with. Several youtube videos on how to do this too.
