I am really looking forward to seeing these on your car with the Bilstein B12 setup !!! Heaveeen I wrote to the guy you got these from about a year ago - "if you will be selling these, please let me know straight away" ! He must have forgotten about me, God damn !

Enjoy it pal
No, they're Avant Garde M359's, the genuine wouldn't fit as the offset is way too aggressive on the non ///M E90. I don't have the B12 kit, I bought the B8 dampers from a forum member but decided not to fit them (hammered the front bumper twice in a week) and sold them (at a loss I might add) to another forum member, they're on his E92 now.

It'll still took goooooood without being lowered I'm sure

Avant Garde is the best alternative to the OEM ones Ive heard Great sizes and quality. Yours is M-Sport so no need to lower really, will look good for sure. Ive seen these wheels only from US, do you know anywhere in the UK you can get these from ? Its a shame you let the B8s go, but why would you like to worry every time you approach speed bumps or kerbs etc...

Thank you

Yeah, from the US it would work out around £900 posted inc taxes.

Once again great choice and I am awaiting the pics !

I thought there is no way that BMW would follow up the god awful 5 GT, unfortunately I was wrong. Both the 3 and 5 GT must be THE UGLIEST cars I have ever seen come out of BMW's stable. What really IS the purpose of a hunchback 3\5 series when the estate version is so much better looking?

Pointless niche filling ugly cars, apologies to those who actually like these but you are WRONG.

PS. Did I mention I don't like them at all.

I don't know

I have had an awful lot of envious comments from people regarding my pointless niche filling ugly car especially when driving across Europe with the family and a boot full of luggage and duty free

I even managed to transport a single bed plus mattress in it the other days (something I would have never done in my E91)

I quite like it too but think I'd prefer a 3 Touring.

As a former Audi driver who defected to BMW it does hurt to say the A5 looks miles better than the 3GT. The Audi lines are smooth and uncluttered compared to the 3 which seems a mess. Can it be that hard when you have such a great chassis and engine to come up with a decent design?

Yes the A5 looks a lot better, especially in S-Line and facelift The BMW seem to focus on all of the unimportant bis and pieces which make the car over designed ! I think BMW need some designers who actually know what BMW stands for. I am just speechless to be honest and as we move into the future the BMW cars make me laugh.

Not for me. I really like the 5 GT, but I'd rather have the 3 series touring than the 3 GT.

Not a fan of either of the "GT's"

As above, id rather have the full touring. Really love the look for the F31.

F31 330d M-Sport .... WIN!

I know other posters are comparing to the A5 but why? Should be comparing the A5 to the upcoming 4-series coupe, that is a head to head comparison. Or if a 4-door, the 4-series Gran coupe also due for release.

The 3GT is in a different market segment, it is purposely a jacked up, LWB, hatchback, to put it bluntly, and has appeal in markets far wider than the UK.

The fact it has grown in size from a standard 3-series makes it more an alternative to the 5-series, particularly the touring, if you want flexibility. It is nearly as big.

3-series 3GT: ... 4824 length, 1828 width, (2047 mirrors) 2920 wheelbase, 1465 front interior width.
5-series touring: 4907 length, 1860 width, (2094 mirrors) 2968 wheelbase, 1518 front interior width.

The 3GT is quite a large car by any standard.

Valid point mate but that assumes that the 4 series which I thought would be a 2 door coupe or 4 door Grand coupe is offered in a five door version that the A5 sportback is. The 3GT however you look at it is one ugly, old fashioned looking car. Just my opinion

The 5GT is a more practical 7 series.

The 3GT is a 5 series hatch. I will be interesting to see how big the rear load space is, the F11 is terrible in this regard.

I love the 5GT, have done loads of long journeys in them, best car for soaking up the miles with some decent practicality

You can't do this with a 7 series....

Just to put this in perspective, in the car was...
3 suitcases
A large trunk
2 full size keyboards
3 boxes like the one you see on the right
3 boxes of files and papers etc like you see on the left.
2 holdalls
3 months worth of shopping because my wife doesn't think my daughter will have supermarkets in Greenwich!
Myself, my wife and my daughter.

This car is massive inside, larger than a long wheel base 7 series, and much more dynamic than an X5.

The 3GT may be the car to get me back into a BMW, I am not sure on the looks of the new 3er touring, but the GT (in the right spec.) could do the job nicely.

The 3GT is more of a 5 series hatch, will be interesting to compare sizes.
