I'd have to vote for clem on this one, he's on point with his work and pricing.

Had a last minute cancellation for tomorrow morning. Anyone in need of a carbon cleaning? Breaking in the new BMW walnut blaster!

Hey, Clem, are you back in action on this? If so (and youre not averse to oil-burners) let me know as I am overdue on the diesel.

Thanks!

Excuse my noob question but how would an oil catch can prevent the need for carbon cleaning? Am I reading that correct?

I would consider purchasing this before carbon cleaning if it would prevent the need to do the cleaning again.

[QUOTE=FormerRotor;13972265]Luther, any update on willingness/ability to perform this on the d? As stated, I'd be happy to pay for the internal inspection if you find that my car truly doesn't require any cleaning, but--as a DI engine with EGR--I honestly doubt that will be the case.

Thanks for your help![/QUOT

hey Former we can take a look and see what were working with. Shoot me a message and we can set up a time.

I t will help to remove some of the oil in the intake system but will not alleviate the problem.

I had 75K miles.
Without a tune, most likely you would not notice the difference. But as stated before, without this cleaning, you will start to get misfires and a multitude of other problems.

Highly recommend Luther, he did a great job. I also added a catch can to eliminate some of the oil.

Props to Luther and to anyone who can complete this process in 2 hours with a nice clean and through finish. I just completed mines and it took me several hours. Got mines pretty clean......all the way down to the valve seats. Had to change out my OFH gasket at the same time though. I completed the last two ports much quicker once I found out how to maneuver the gun. Still.....2 hours is very quick. BTW, this was performed on a 07 335i with 56k miles.

Just had this done by Luther last night. This guy KNOWS HIS STUFF!

My car had stuttering and a twitchy idle, even after injectors and coil packs were replaced by dealer under CPO.

This cleaning has made my car run like new again. Power delivery is so much more linear now!!

Definitely go visit him in his new shop.

Also, hit him up ahead of time as he sometimes stocks Burger's OCC, modified CDV, and RB Turbos' PCV Valve, so you don't need to wait for parts to come in and he can get it all knocked out at once!

Visited Luther last week, he changed my plugs and cleaned my intake. He did a great job and even changed out a defective ignition coil at no cost. My car is back to running like new, thanks Luther!!
