The wheels are from mod bargains. They come in silver, but mine are powder coated color-matched Jet Black.

The trunk lid is actually from Z Shift. I know a lot of people had issues with them before they went out of business, but I must have gotten a "good" one I like it because it looks a little different than the ones you usually see, like you said. I'm not sure who sells them currently, or if they are even still available.

And no, no issues with water getting into the hood vents. The driver side vent is right over the DCI, too, but most of the water channels down over the microfilter housing and around the sides, from what I can see. The only time I covered up the vents was during a snow storm, just to be safe since I didn't want snow and ice sitting under my hood.

And almost all of these hoods crack or warp eventually. It's the nature of the materials they're made out of. My current hood has not cracked yet, but it does warp a bit depending on temperature. The body shop did not do a great job installing it, which I think contributed to the problems. Oh well. I can live with it until I find something I like better.

Oh, and I think I have finally decided on BC coilovers. My car is back in the body shop right now dealing with a few issues from the previous body work. I'll get started on my next round of mods once he's back home

Good choice with the BCs are you getting the extreme drop kit. Also I remember redding and seeing pics of that brutal body work that shop did on your car, that's a real shitty situation

No, I think I'm just getting the standard ones. I really only want around a 2" drop, so the extreme drop kit might be a bit much for my needs. And yeah, hopefully my car will be out of the shop at the end of this week (went in last Monday morning). It was/is definitely a shitty situation, and it put a stop to all of the mods I had planned until I get it sorted out. Really fed up. I saw the car late last week and it's about 75% there, so at least progress is being made.

Yep. And the entire hood is painted (so is the trunk). I thought about doing a fade, but ended up just painting the whole thing as I thought the color of the cf looked a little weird against the jet black -- in the sunlight it almost had a brownish hue to it. In hindsight I do wish I had left a small fade on the trunk lid, but oh well.
