Any of guys that completed stud conversion used loctite with your installation? If so, what color loctite? Any issues with taking off the bolts?

Thanks.

There got to be at least one "studs" members out there that can help me out (lol, sorry for the lame joke). Anyhow, I'm teetering between doing studs or just going with longer lug nuts when I purchase my spacers.

Hiya,

Now that my username is unbanned (2 months completely undeserved temp ban) I can finally respond:

Yes, I used locktite. It came with the studd conversion kit. It was blue.

i would go with the studs... i took off my wheels the other day and then when putting them back on with the spacers in front.. i had a blast of a time trying to line up the holes in the spacer and the hub and wheel while trying to hold the wheel in place and prevent the spacer from spinning so i can get the lugs in ... studs will make this a very simple job.

Looking into a stud conversion, seriously considering these, they look sick

But for that price, I might as well go for the Work lugs...

The one thing about studs is that, some tire places won't touch them for liability reasons.
If the retaining isn't using stock type fasteners they won't put the wheels on the car.

Had that happen at America's Tire. Mind you, I converted to studs because some moron (more off than on) used an impact gun and cross threaded one of the bolt holes on the hub...... This was on my e36.
