G37 Keeping up with tuned 335??

Whats up guys...
Recently just picked up my 4th e92(All Tuned)..
2011 335 xdrive 6AT
Car is tuned with Jb4 on map 5...Bmw performance exhaust...ER chargepipe...
This car definitely feels sluggish!!!
All my other n54's would walk past a g37 with no issue at all.
A buddy of mine has a 08 g37s with Injen Intake.
I find it realllly weird that he was able to keep up with me side by side straight to 120+ (somewhere in Mexico)
I am going to guess that I have a boost leak somewhere...any ideas??

Also...the car makes a weird sound at idle and when you rev it to about 2k rpm...a squeeling sound...

Charge pipe and BMW PE aren't really performance mods per say.
The PE just changes your exhaust note, doesn't help the flow out too much.
Add into the matter that the AWD leaches more power and it's not hard to believe.

Get intake, downpipes and a full exhaust to let the JB4 do it's thing.

Also, there is a pretty significant weight difference between a 335xi and a G37s ... the G37xS is more similar in weight

Well you guys are fairly close in power. He's making ~330hp like your tuned N55. You have more torque but that cancels out with the extra weight you had. Run E-85 and get a DP.

LOL this board has trained ppl to think that once you JB4 your car, your almost untouchable. While there is a humungous difference, tts not the 8 car length distance ppl make it out to be.

Plus... G37(3590 lbs) vs your 335xi(3850lbs) + a load car and trunk like you said car definitely make up for what you thought.

I'd like to think the N54 with JB4 may have performed better?

yeah, that'll do it. It's a good thing Z's are that cheap to lease. otherwise the same tools that try to race at every light in a g37 would be in a 370.

Don't see the point of racing with other people in the car. 335 can beat M5 full of people. Doesn't mean anything...
