i suggest using plastidip (you can get it from any local home depot) i did mine myself it was very easy you just spray and when it drys it turns into a plastic like material and you can peel it off whenever you want but best way to remove it is to use high pressure water..

you can do simply plastidip or if you want a color thats not blue, red, white, or matte black then what you can do is put a couple coats of plastidip then after spray normal spraypaint over it in which ever color you want. havent done this on rims but ive heard it stays fine

I just Plasti-Dip painted my rims.
Took the stock 16" that came with my car and gave each rim 3 coats.
Came out really great, with that black matte look.

Honestly,,,,don't do it. It's a factory thing and eventually the paint WILL chip.
