330 ci clubsport
Having put my corrado up for sale, am looking around for a car round the £5k mark as dont wanna spend a fortune as planning on a 911 next yr.
Came across the clubsport and bar the rear spoiler i really like the look of it. I know its pretty much a sport model bar a few dress up bits, but has anyone had one - or had a play with one in the past? Really like the velvet black colour they came in.

Not had a Clubsport but bought an 03 plate 330ci M Sport a couple of years ago and thought it was a belting car. Had >70k in the clock and still felt well screwed together, was plenty rapid enough, and was pretty efficient (high 20's/low 30's from memory). I'd have another without hesitation (in reality, as I've now done the E46, would probably stretch to an E92 if possible).

Think i need to experience a proper 6cyl engine as have never had one before.
They also seem to be pretty good VfM hence it coming into mind - and 4 proper seats as well which is where the corrado sort of lets itself down!

Clubsport is a nice car. Exhaust note is spot on. But why dont you skip the BM altogther and get the porsche a few months earlier. That will defo have a proper six a flat one

I wouldn't necessarily restrict myself to the club sport version (most were tip-tronic when I was searching) as you'll just be paying a premium for very subtle changes - more 330's out there so a better deal to be had (likely with better spec). As for a Porsche, mmm, not sure a £5k would be too sensible, but I've got a feeling Paul's (M3 FST) getting itchy feet so a cheeky offer would get a good deal - he's spent a shit load on it so should be well sorted.
