JB4 is in map 0. latency is 0... haven't tried to remove the cable and then the key.. don't think this would make the difference. Car doesn't have comfort access..

Flash worked great, shifts faster, rev matches, etc. Paddle shifters broke tho, and I am not sure how to fix it.

Not seeing the options described in the original walk-through. Particularly Step 8.

Quote:
0-Start ignition with cluster lights on

1-Load NCSexpert

2-File Use EXPERTMODE profile and click ok

3-(F1) Vin/ZCS/FA

4-(F3) SG ausw

5-Choose E89 chassis click ok

6-Choose CAS click ok

7-(F6) Back

8-Choose ECU and pick EGS

9-Press F3 (execute JOB)

10-After it says coding ended your done!

11-Close out NCSexpert
Step 6: I get this weird message
View post on imgur.com

Step 8 is missing the EGS, not sure if anyone else ran into this problem

Thanks!

Thanks, but no luck. Even with newer everything NSCExpert and daten I still get weird errors, and/or there is no EGS ECU option.

Do you mean even an 2006 production date will be available soon? What is Xhp can you explain more? Thank you!

Thank you for the information but it seems like not Alpina flash and it seems something like Cobb tuning if I am right?

Like Cobb but for your transmission, better than Alpina.

I did hear the 325i and 330i and 335i use the same AT.

Is this true?

In other words, can the Alpina B3 flashed on a 325i ? Anyone tried it?

Hi guys, first post on this forum but I'm a long time vmw owner....

I successfully flashed the alpina b3 flash to my e93 330i n53, everything worked the same as the n54 guys by the sounds of it, including the horrible D mode.

So I want to flash back to stock. The original file for my car was 7584025 but I can not find this zb number anywhere on winkfp?

I'm in the UK with a UK car, I've looked through the gk215 files and found several 330 files but they are for the n52 and I can't find any thing specific for the n53 on the internet!

Any help would be great, cheers

Go the respective folder in C:\EC-APPS\NFS\Data, then open the *.his file. Do a search for 7584025, you should see a higher number listed next to it. Then, do a search for that number to see if there was a further update. Continue that process till you can't find any further updates.

You can also see the UIF history using WinKFP by clicking on the "Special" button (F4) after you select your module in Comfort Mode. But, that will only give you the history of your module...

Very interested in this... can you PM for details? I'd be looking at a remote tune option... 2011 335xi M-sport with PPK. Thanks!

Can I use the latest Sp-Daten (V63.0) for this flash and shift paddle correction on 11' N55? Or I must get the dates 53.0V and 49.3?

Thanks

Like someone else mentioned here, 11 n55 comes with DCT. Alpina B3 is for regular transmission only, not DCT.

Thank you for your response,

I have a regular 2011 E93 335i, I don't think it comes with DCT (I wish). DCT comes with the 335is and M3 models.

I just want to know if my sp-daten V63.0 will work for the flash and paddle correction, do I need to downgrade it down to the recommended sp-daten V53.0 and V49.3 on the list? I ask because the post was written years back when V53.0 daten was probably the latest at that point.

My sp daten 60.2 has the alpina zb # so I would assume 63.0 would. One way to know for sure is to hook your car up, F1 comfort mode, F2, pick GKE215 in the ECU family, and see if 7615835 pops up in the ZB number column when it populates. If it's there, you can flash it, then just default code your EGS if your paddles don't work.

My 2011 135i came with DCT. It's not is. Probably it's a few days of difference after which they started using dct?

The N55 135i or 135is came with a DCT. The N55 335i did not. The only way to get a DCT in the non M E9x platform was in the N54 335is.
