Anyway, as everyone else has mentioned, you will not see temp issues on the streets or AutoX (or similar) event. Push hard for 20-30 minutes and you'll need viagra.
It was mounted next to the license plate if I remember correctly.

Looks like a lot of fun, video probably would of been better had it been pointing straight though.

There is other footage in the cabin. This was done more to get the exhaust and just get a unique shot.

Being that this was my first time at the track I am by no means going as fast as one could on this track with my car. The curves where it looks like I am going really slow is due to the massive understeer (you can kinda hear the front tires plowing). I was also probably braking late and going too fast into the turns. I was driving as fast as my skills would allow me. Brey can attest that I has driving hard lol.

I had one of the faster times, even with an open diff and no experience and I think it was largely to to my straight line speed. I need suspension mods and a LSD to balance the car for racing.

I obviously agree that racing is a greater strain on an engine. My whole point was my car has been through a significant amount of abuse and I have yet to see any signs of overheating.
+1

Once you start picking up the speed you will have oil temp issues like the rest of us.

Just want to point out a few things out:

OP beat a GTR

The camera man, who is a member on this forum mounted the cameras near the license plate and along the side to get the exhaust and for a cool wheel shot I believe.

From this day, I can say that I was impressed with the stock oil cooler.

No disrespect but...

I've beaten several Z06's when I first began tracking. In both cases, beating a car is really just beating a driver.

Again, this was a 2nd gear track; the 135 would have also beat an F1 car on this track.

The time off of the throttle was just as much as on the throttle. Much different than a usual road course.... So oil temps won't be affected much.

No knockin here... Just need to put things into perspective.

I didn't imply that the 335i > GTR but rather that OP is a better and more aggressive driver than my buddy driving the GTR was lol
