29E0 feul mixture control

Anyone ever got the same code before?
I'm constantly getting this code with or without the tune. (Procede and JB3)
My other mods are Vishnu DCI,AR catless DP and AE catback exhaust.
Do I have any other options to fix this other than removing all the mods and dealering it?

I am throwing this same code, which is then followed by mis-fires....Dropped my car off at the dealer this morning, I will report back with my findings.

NO MODS OF COURSE

I cut the power of my boost gauge (rix) and tucked away the tubing taps and of course removed my RevII and installed new ECU power plugs as my original got a bit chewed up.

I started getting this code the day after I installed the cat back exhaust so I was wondering is it because I'm running completed catless.
What's the mileage on your car? Have you ever replaced your spark plugs?

Nope...just the RevII....There is a good chance your o2 was damaged during the downpipe install...I would check those areas...It would be tough to get those replaced by some dealers and if they see those exhaust mods. Also there is a good chance they will refuse work on a catless car.

Also have changed my plugs 3 time in the last 20k miles

I have 35K on mine and never changed my plugs before.
I think the o2 sensor was not damaged during the installation because I was not getting the code after the DP installation. The code came up after the exhaust installation, which was 2 months after.
Oh well, I guess we'll wait and see what does the dealer say.

Does the car splutter a bit on start up?
Generally the code comes up when there is a lambda fault. Either the primaries or there is a problem with the reading between the primary and secondary due to decat. If you got access to a BT tool check the Voltages of the primaries and if they differ more than ten percent then one of them is faulty.
Another cause could be a bad contact with the piggy back you using.

I'm still getting this code without the tune so it should have nothing to do with the tune right?
So how exactly should I fix this problem?

After BT scanning it, I'd leave the codes(delete any tuner codes if any), detune, and take it in...........Unless if you're SA is cool with modded cars (thank god for my SA).......

Have the same errors recently;

Will drop my car for the 5th time in 1,5 year at the dealer for abnormal engine behaviour. (HPFP, coils, HPFP, HPFP, "uck up bij my dealer", plugs coils and HPFP) and now this one.

I get 29e1 a 29e0 and misfires in cylinder 6. Especially when the engine is cold.
I expect that the injectors are failing, but could also be a boost leak or even the HPFP that is dying.

Let's keep eachother posted...

If it is related to the lambda, which it was in the time I experienced it you should have them checked and see which ones need to be changed. This can either be done with the Bavtech and check that the Voltages are equal or if you got access to a BMW tool check the Amp on each of the four lambdas. I am not saying its 100% the lambdas but check them first before purchasing. Originally I though it was lambda one only and changed it with the same problem and then changed lambda 2 as well.
If the car is at the dealer they certainly will sort it though.

What occurs is on startup it cannot get the fueling right and takes a few seconds when it falls onto a default fuel map for start up.

injectors are clogged with carbon. new part number along with a set of plugs should take care of it.

for reference, plugs from a 135i with the same faults at 6000 miles:

Voltage Lambda Probe in front of cat bank 1 and 2 are 2.03
in back of cat bank 1 and 2 are 0.41
Are these the voltage you are talking about?
Does that seem right?

4 HPFP errors and you are in Europe? Your gas doesn't have Ethanol right?

The rumours are that the issue ismore design then ethanol related.

UPDATE....seems like I just needed some adaptation, car runs great and I have zero issues on cold starts for now. They kept the car for two days to try cold starting it twice and perform other tests.

Does that seem right?
The Voltages are correct for idle. Did you check them whilst the misfire happens? Mine would misfire and then there would be compensation via ECU, there is a reading for that on the BT tool. Once the car realizes there is a problem it will idle correctly and the lambda will show the correct voltage. Make sure the readings are correct during the misfire. If they are then you must look somewhere else for the problem.
