CURBED

Been busy getting ready for wedding, haven't washed car in 2 weeks. Loading up passenger side of car and notice at some point in the last 2 weeks when I had to valet my car for work (I avoid it as much as possible, but sometimes you have to when parking around LA office buildings), the valet's not only curbed my rear wheel, but gashed a big ass chunk of it out and curbed it a full 360º

I have Miro 111's with the machined face so there's no way to fix it except to buy a new wheel. Uggg...

I've barely had my car for 3 years, and have been rear ended 5 times, been through 2 bumpers and 3 re-paints in the rear and now I get to pony up for a new wheel.

This is why we can't have nice things in this town, sigh.

Sorry to hear about that.

Before thinking about buying a new wheel, have you tried Son Tran's wheel repairs? He can make your wheels brand new again.

The Miro 111's have a machined front face, so there's no way Son Tran can patch and paint them If they were all paint I'd be running to him right after my wedding this afternoon!!

If a valet did it, isn't the parking co. responsible? They have insurance for that.

Yes, they do. To bad they would laugh when you went to a company and said " umm I think sometime in the last 2 weeks when I used your service, not sure what time or day, you curbed my wheel". And if he used more than 1 company at different locations, good luck with that.

You could still try and ask him.

I curbed my rear right rim on my snows. It's like 3/4" long and barely noticeable--if the valet did something like that, fine, it doesn't bother me. But if we're talking about the rim being nearly bent etc., even if it's 2 wks. later I'm going to mention it to the parking co.

Agree with you on that. Had my front smashed in by some guy with a truck from USC ( hit & run) costing me about $3k. T..T
