Which BMW to Buy - Part II

Originally, I had asked question about whether to buy a 328i and 335i. Everyone suggested getting a 335i. And that's what I am going to get.

I have found two BMW 335i convertibles which I liked.

1. 2007 Model, 9000 miles. 37,000$ (I think price is on the higher end)
2. 2008 Model, around 27k miles. 35,000$

Other options/features are identical. [Premium Pkg, Sports Pkg etc.]

I know that 2008 onwards, BMW started putting Run Flat Tires and not everyone is a fan of them (and I tend to agree based on what I have read). So this is a plus for the 2007 model. On the other hand, I would be getting a 3+ years old model.

What do you guys suggest, which one makes more sense, at what price?

Thanks!
RJ

$37k is to high.

I would pay $29k-31k for it.

Make sure you ask bmw to check the service records and don't buy the car if its not certified pre owned. Thats my opinion. Good luck.

I bought my fully loaded, 07 6mt 335 with 21k miles for $31k a year and a half ago. It was certified pre owned. Search around and take your time, you'll find a good car at a good price.

If there both CPO, find the one with the oil cooler and haven't had the HPFP problem

Bob,

These prices are for convertible and not for coupe. I don't think I will be able to find any decent 335 convertible at 31k.

And neither car is CPO.

Didn't see that it was a vert, in that case I would definitely go with the 08. I'd rather have a car that's been driven with more warranty time left than a car that's sat most of the time or been in stop and go driving.
