bad sound quality from griffin bluetrip

There is no doubt about it. The sound quality of the griffin blue trip is very bad. It cuts out almost all of the bass. Its so obvious now that I've upgraded the amp and some speakers.

What are you guys using for bluetooth A2DP? I want an option that has good/acceptable sound quality, and is always "on" when I turn the car on and doesn't require me to re-pair each time.

Thanks.
