How are 19" wheels on wet roads?

Do the tires on 19" wheels have inherently worse traction than those for 18" wheels on wet road conditions? I assume, of course, that the tires would have to be replaced more often.

Appreciate any feedback!

My god, Van actually gave a helpful answer!

Like stated, it's not so much about your wheels, but your tires. It also depends on how the weather varies each season around your area. For example, here in Southern California, you can run summer tires all year and be OK, lol.

The rate of how often you replace tires would also depend on how you drive

Like everyone else has stated, it really depends what tires you are comparing. But, the same 18" and 19" tire will perform more or less the same, however 18" tires will generally have a larger selection as far as all season/ wet tires go.

Wider contact patch, tread pattern, even tire pressure matters for traction. Tracked on wet course with all seasons, no problems on 19". It was fun.
