LOL I knew it was EPL...JP did they give you the green light to give a price on the kit yet or is that to be announced? Glad it was EPL because my local Porsche race shop is an authorized dealer!

Can't wait to see the final results!

Not allowed to talk about price yet, that's all still being finalized sorry!

Best of all EPL is no more than 3 miles away from me!

Just subscribing. I'm at 5700 miles and I'm noticing some whining when cold and its been getting atleast slightly more noticeable when warm. I may be doing this when my EU warranty goes out and after my long business trip.

There are quite a few getting this cold temp whining.....

Had my turbos replaced at 1 yr and the new ones are doing the same thing.

Have they confimed or denied that there was a diffrence in the 135i turbos. I would be up for being a guinea pig. Also when you say procede are you just going to be running the regualr v4 maps or is shiv giving you custom maps?

I didn't ask anything about 135 turbos.. didn't know there were any differences

I'm going to see how it does by itself without changing anything, then we will fine-tune things: whatever mapping changes are needed will of course be done.

It is more annoying than anything and I've read lots of dudes on the forum having this problem that it makes me think it's "normal". I bought my 03/09 build in 09/09.

I don't notice any lack of power, fwiw I'm running V4 Stage 1.

I just don't want to get crazy until the warranty is done, but I'm buying stuff as it becomes available for a reasonable price so that I can have stuff right away.

I'm watching jpsimon's adventures closely.

haha i'm not sure, but from what I heard about pricing, in my opinion it is just right.

Oh also on another note, we're going to have the manifold blasted with a hi-temp coating.

Y'know, even another 30 WHP would be worth a few $$$, especially if we see the power up top so we don't have to short shift.

Oh, and JP, well done on not letting the cat out of the bag prior to this...that takes a LOT of self-control !
