Start up business ideas ?

Just wanted to get you're inputs on any start up business you might think are potentially good ?

As in guessing a lot of you are currently working I guess there must be some good ideas ?

Iv tried thinking if a few ( property development & even looked into buying cars from auction but both if these two options seem exhausted / too competitive )

Ideas Anyone ?

Pay day loans seem to be doing pretty well at the moment.

Nursery.

I know I have to get raped by them each month for ridiculous amounts. Might as well jump on the bandwagon.

Or an old folks home, they make nurseries look cheap. My grans place was £850 per month where as my kids nursery is only £250 per month.

Combine all of the above - open an establishment which is a strip club featuring imported sex slave hotties who sell drugs and offer payday loans in the evening, which doubles up as a nursery during the day. I'm sure you could fit a few old folk in there somewhere too, maybe in the basement or something.

Wow bargain care deals In Glasgow!

We paid £1100/ month nursery in Manchester, thought circa 1K was pretty normal??

That was £55/day two years ago, its about £65 now, so £1300/month (that didn't include early drop off 7-8, that was £4.50 / day extra)

My Grans old folks home was over 2 grand a month and that wasn't so great either, made a travelodge look posh.

OP - do you think anyone will tell you first if they have such a great idea?

I'm sure it was but if any of us had a business idea that was set for success we wouldn't be here making crap jokes. We'd be on the Ferrari forum making crap jokes.

To be fair, to be successful in a business you need to know what you are doing.

People don't just start businesses as a impulse idea.

What kind of things are you good at that is going to be worthwhile for others to require your services?

^^ this guy is right.

If you can't think of a viable business yourself or have the skills set to offer a service, your probably not the right person to be running your own business.

Requires forward thinking, planning and great ideas.

However, car detailing and paintless dent removal make good money.

Best get training.

My wife has just informed me that I'm a thick idiot. Supposedly I was paying £250 A WEEK..... Not a month. Fuck me! That explains a lot.

Businesses that I've thought about as I never see these go to the wall.

Brewery - real ales / craft beers, there are businesses out there that get you started up - no experience required.

Tyre fitters - Always a demand and laws will only get stricter.
