My E92 330d Progress

Hi guys - just though't I'd make a post to keep track of the changes made to my e92 330d. It's a Montego Blue SE and I've had it a couple of months now

This is how is was when I got her, sorry for the rubbish picture had to take the small one from ebay

First on the list were some tints for the rear windows! Can't remember what I went for in the end but could well be 20%.

As you can see from the Pic above I then replaced the wheels with some MV3's which I plastidipped satin black. (wasn't a big fan of this look so you'll see you they soon went)

Next were some gloss black kidney grills which completely change the look of the car for me!

Before:

After:

Next were a new set of front and rear emblems.

Before:

After:

And the most recent were some different wheels - I managed to get a set of 313 reps from a member on here which were never going to see a polished face again. I gave them a quick refurb and did something most of you 313 fans will hate, but I like them.

Before:

After:

This is how she looks today...

Wish List

Rear M Sport Spoiler
White bulbs for DRL's
15mm Wheel Spacers All Around
Gloss Black Window Trim
M Sport Rear Bumper
Aero Lip for Front Bumper
Lowering Springs

Nice progress, however i'm not a fan of the Chrome window moldings, if you could replace them with black ones I think that would make a massive improvement to the overall look.

I had my window trims sprayed by a bodyshop and they do look much better but you could do them yourself if your any good with the spray cans!

Thanks for the replies guys! she's coming along nicely slowly getting there!

Agree with the front window tints but I wasn't aware you could actually do this at the time

The 313 reps are quite good the ride is only slightly worse than when on 18" MV3s.

The window trim is on my list... I've tried several things including Plastidip but nothing has really come off so far. I like to think I'm quite handy with a spray can but I've avoided doing that so far... I actually think I've had a break through this afternoon sourcing some gloss black ones...

So whilst I'm still in limbo about whether or not to hold onto my 330d or sell and buy a 330i I found some Montego Blue M Sport bumpers which I just couldn't pass up since they come along once in a blue moon.

If I do decide to keep some new wheels and coilovers will be next on the list.
