Exclamation Choopy Detailed: 2008 Merecedes-Benz C300

This detail required only a 1 step polish via PO106ff. The car is only about 8 months old and is not a daily driver. Not many blemishes or swirls. Came in for a winter prep & polish & didn't have much time for pictures. The sun obviously was not present ( in the pictures as you can tell) and even started to rain a little bit after the polish, however, I do feel that the car came out well and the owner was very satisfied. Spring detail will be *2 step*, and I'll be sure to request sunny weather next time. Feel free to let me know what you think! Thanks!

Meguiar's Gold Class? Really!

I use Meg's #26, never hear of too many pro's using Gold Class.

Looks good!

That's the same color and model as mine.
I just spent all weekend detailing the E90 and the Merc. I will admit, out of the box, the Merc paint is pretty flawless. Some orange peel but with the ceramic paint, it really makes a difference.
I had to polish only a few spots due to water etching and all it took was some 106 and white pad. On the E90 it took an orange pad with the SIP to really get at it.
Car looks great

Car looks great. I saw one them a little while ago in the parking lot of my gym and couldn't help but notice how un aggressive those wheels look in comparison to the monster engine it has.

As far as Gold Class goes, its an OTC cleaner wax. It looks awesome for its short life, but thats exactly the way it was made. For consumers who don't polish or rarely clay and just want some shine. Add a little cleaners into it to sort of help the adherance of the wax and boom, you got yourself Meguiars Gold Class.

Believe it or not, I prefer to wax my car every once in a while with NXT 2.0.

Thank you all for your kind words! I've still got some time until I'm at the Pro status, but I get determination and Motivation through through a lot of the detailers I read about here. Thanks again guys!

It's a C300 not C63.

Thanks for your advice, I actually didn't know that stripping was one of the things that wax could do

Also, I would have to agree with Bobby Light, the car is only a C300 (250 hp+/-), the front end is nice and aggressive, the wheels no, the engine...NO
