Xmm I can give you same ideas for e93

Awesome project. I never understood as to why people get so pissed and make a fuss about if someone converted their non m into m. This happened a lot in e46f and i guess its the same around here. I also noticed one thing, when someone gets a feeler about an m3 bodykit and shares his idea on the forums everyone flames him, but when he gets it done and actually finish the conversation everyone drools on it -_-
OP is right. In some countrys such as mine, a regular 325 sedan would cost 21000$ but an e90 m3 would cost well above 58000$ due to taxes and several fees. and the m3 body conversion would cost with paint around 4k$
Imo 335 with m3 bodykit/tune/bov/porscha big brakes is the best thing that can happen for e90/e92, the reason why im seriously considering a conversion.

Because it can be done. And it may piss off a few elitist douches that think they are above society just because they can afford a (insert your choice of material thing bought for social status here).

If you have to ask the point, you'll never get it.

Not talking about money and then you contradict that by writing "same price" on the next sentence? Price is about money, unless you get yours as a "prize" out of a cracker jack box. I don't think those words coming out of your typing hands mean what you think it means

Why?

You had a chance to modify your car and make something unique/individual/special... Instead you make a "copy" of an OEM car. Cheap copy I might add.

For me this is no different than buying a fake designer purse/wallet just to PRETEND you are cool or wealthy.

But why would you make a copy of an M3? It will never be M3 car... So instead of making a cheap copy why not make something unique?

He is putting a lot of time into this project and just wish he was a little more creative... Not just trying to copy a generic/stock car.

Why should the OPs rationale be anymore more or less valid than yours? Your wish, what you want, what you think should be done, what you think would be a better course of action, what you think his creative talents should be concentrated upon...

See a trend here? It is not about your logic nor your choice. Believe it or not, there are other people out there who do not live and value your choices. It is not like you will be able to have the OP change his course of action because of your criticism...or for that matter, anybody else'.

Sometime's it is okay to just watch some people and see what they are capable of doing with the resources they have.

so what would be unique to you? some aftermarket body kit that will look like crap and not last?

or maybe Mtech front and rear bumpers, lux angel eye lights, 19" VMR rims? oh wait, that's not unique at all.

Using the M3 body panels will give him a clean OEM look, which is what he's after. "Unique" is such a stupid term most of the time because everyone wants to do something to their car to make it "unique", yet they do the exact same shit as everyone else. And if someone actually does do something unique, they get berated for it because it doesn't maintain a classy BMW image.

In brief, I was writing to DimitrisM3 about his great project and where he could find some potential help.

looking good so far! As much as I love the looks of the M3 I wouldn't do a conversion myself, wouldn't feel comfortable rolling in it with only a 328 under the hood in my case..

Can't wait to see how it turns out!
