umbra tinting woot/

Can any of you guys who got tinted at Umbra post pics of the work on the dot matrix? I have seen clean work and have seen really poor tint work on that part.

I am looking at doing 35% ceramic tint all around (I have CA) but don't want the dot matrix to look like crap

I have the dreaded blotchy dox matrix and had it done at Umbra. Nino said he can either cut that part out or simply cover it with black vinyl.

He mentioned that's the only way to get around it.

I'm actually the police commissioner in my town. I know alot of officers and commissioners from alot of different communities in the chicagoland area (not well, but I've met alot). With all the codes that the officers are required to know, it is easily forseeable that this one slips. It would of course get rectified at court.

Round Lake Police Commissioner, thats funny. I used to know the Chief of Police in that town a few years ago. He was a Marine. Or was it Round Lake Beach...ahh hell I forgot.

Sorry, between Shawshank's post and yours it sounded like you were dissing RL. The town gets enough bad pub because RL Beach and RL Park (neighboring towns) are such shitholes and people can't seem to realize that they are separate towns. (Not that RL is Utopia, it has its own issues but they at least I don't get shot at here).

Anyway, RL is about 45 mins NW of the City. Off 94 20 mins west on 120. 15k people, very diverse. No shopping, few restaurants. Its one of the places where people who work in the Vernon Hills and Northbrook tech corridors live...along with about 5k Mexicans.

Umm AFV I wasnt bashing you. Simply stating I knew the Chief about 8 years ago. He was my OIC (Officer in Charge) in the Marines. Warrant Officer Bruce Johnson. Small word that was the point I was trying to get accross. No Idea why you took offense to it.

Because as I mentioned, it was a bad morning and because of all the RL bashing in general I get defensive. I love my town (for the most part - with the exception of the election I lost last year - sigh)!

Chief Johnson was at RL Park I believe, not RL proper.
