VEI Boost Gauge Install

I bought a Glow Shift 52mm gauge pod from Amazon.com, hacked off the swivel base and crafted a more low-profile solution. I'm very happy with the results.

Install took less than an hour tapping in to the vacuum line by the diverter valves for boost/vac and tapping into my 9500i hardwire kit for power/ground.

Best part . . . total cost was less than $100 + an hour of my time.

A bunch of photos of the finished product here. -> http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180343

how is total cost less than 100 bucks when you are using a $130 dollar boost gauge?

VEI Gauges FTW!

I like how VEI has become so popular with the 335... I've sold over 130 of those VEI gauges just to 335 owners! (and my vent gauge uses the same VEI technology)

Paid $85 shipped for the gauge (brand new, from an e90post member) and $13 shipped for the pod (from Amazon).

you gotta make sure to get the "high rez" version... it costs more... most people don't realize there is 2 versions.

I just realized (from looking at my own photos) I never pushed the gauge all the way into the pod. It's now flush with the edge.
