As title, Wondering how to switch this off or something?

It works on the coupe, I don't know about the saloon but clicking the open button twice will cause the windows to open half way. Since they are frameless it makes it easier to get in the car when you don't have a lot of space.
To stop it, don't hit the open button twice. In the same vein, when you lock the car, it is common on other makes (at least it was) to hit the lock button twice, the second time actuating the deadlocks. Once only is required on the BMW as hitting the lock button a second time de-activates the interior sensors and the tilt sensor. I know quite a few owners who had previously been used to the double click on other makes and didn't know they were de-activating part of the alarm. If your car is ever taken away on a low loader and it's locked, the action of pulling it up onto the trailer will set the alarm off unless you hit the lock button twice. |
