Its worth a try..

I'll be in Chicago December 14th-20th and was wondering if anyone in the Chicago area has either 2 or 4 tickets (December 18th game) together for sale or knows someone that has them for sale. Online they are damn expensive and figured this was worth a try.

Thanks,
James

hanie is good but not as great as cutman. i think the main concern with a broken thumb is taking the snap and a tight grip on the ball in throwing motion. 50% of your grip on the ball is with your thumb, the other 50% is split over 4 other fingers on top if you think about it.

Nice win for Da Bears. Glad to see Rivers blow it late but wish he woulda taken a beating along the way.
I DO take my words back about the better records. heh

but we did beat the Giants with a backup quarterback throwing 3 interceptions

you try gripping a ball with a broker thumb. If he can't make a fist due to his broken thumb then he can't grip the ball....

haine isn't bad...let's just hope the bears can pull thru this...the schedule ahead does make for a favorable situation here

haine doesn't have the arm strength that cuttie does...but it's like ponder, under 20 yards and he's got a shot...but seeing cuttie throw those bombs he did today is something we won't see with CH most likely..

if it's just a fracture most likely 4-6 weeks, if there's some ligament damage as well 6-8...let's hope it's not the latter...

Even if Hanie does have to finish out the season, I can't see him costing the Bears more than one victory (if that) as opposed to Cutler being in there. The Bears win with defense and special teams, so as long as he plays conservatively and doesn't totally shit his pants on the field, the Bears will be fine. If there has been one thing the Bears have proven over the years, it's that they can win without a stellar quarterback.

It's all speculation until we know more about the injury though. It doesn't sound like he's going to try to play through it, but he could be back in three weeks in a best case scenario, the rest of the season in the worst case.

Also, don't forget that the Bears' schedule from here on out includes the Viqueens, Denver, KC, and Seattle. BUT, 4/6 of the games are on the road, I wonder if that'll have an effect on Hanie. Who knows....

it's the back foot throw under pressure capibility I'm worried about. Cutler on 3rd down has the cannon to make a last second throw/adujstment and hit someone coming back to the ball. Hanie will likely not do that as well and if he does you're risking even more so than Cutty, throwing a pick. If we can run, all might be well but you saw how SD put the run game on notice and held forte to just 57 yards. 57 yards against a few of these teams (especially GB) won't get us shit, and Martz isn't exactly a ground game featured O.C.
