Had headlight error codes turned off now have engine codes

Just had Okee turn off my headlight codes but now funny thing is I have a check engine light. I tried to clear the codes and clear the adaptions with BMW logger and it does clear but then I restart the car and they come back. Not sure what to do with this. Here are the codes. The car idles and drive perfect.

It might just be coincidence. Im not sure what a throttle valve is. If you google the codes does anything from e90post.com show up?

Try clearing the codes again. Then turing off the ignition. Then turn the ignition back on, engine off. Let it wait there for a while. (I usually have a charger hooked up.) However for arguments sake more than a minute, although I have had to leave the car sitting for more than 30 mins in the past. Turn off ignition after, then see if the check light is on or if you can rev past 3000rpm. Hopefully this is all you need.

It revs just fine. Runs normal. I can clear the codes while it's running and they stay off till the next time I start it then they come back

See if you can relearn the throttle adaptations by doing this:

turn on ignition, engine off
fully step on gas pedal
wait 5-10 seconds
off gas pedal
wait about 1-2mins
turn off ignition

Start vehicle once. then shut off. Then start again.

see if the check engine light is on. if it is then you may have a faulty TB. However it is hard to say, as i am diagnosing through a computer screen. Sorry dude.

I will try that and see what it does. I just cleared them and went for a 10 mile drive and not a light or problem at all. Just as soon as I got back home I turned the car off and restarted it and boom, the light came back on. Just seems to throw them at first start.

Keep us updated. Hopefully its something really minor. Like an unplugged connector.

well have an update. I cleared the codes again and turned the key off and removd it. Put the key back in and hit the start button but not starting it. All dash lights were on. Just left it on without starting it and went in the house for 15min. Came back out and removed key and let it set just a bit. Put the key back in and fired it up. No more check engine light and all is back to normal. Before just after it started it would throw the light. Now if I cleared the codes while running it would stay clear till I done a restart. But have been driving it with many restarts and still no light or code. It was like adaption for the startup was lost or something.

Its a known issue with the BMWLogger adaptations reset that you will get a throttle body error and you need to perform the reset.

It even say so on their website!

I was just reading on the bmw logger website and it said to hold the gas pedal down for 30 sec and such. i just put the key in and turned the ignition on and walked away for a while. I guess it worked so that's all that matters.

How do you reset it with a 6 speed manual?

That's really surprising- Okee is a pretty damn good coder, and a stand up guy.

Why didn't you text him when you had the issue so he could've cleared it remotely and helped you out?

Did he make mention of any possibility that what you experienced was a direct result of coding?

I agree Okee is a great guy and it had noting to do with his work. i did call him back after that happened and he tried to clear the code as well with no luck. Like I said all it was that I reset the adaptions and the throttle body didn't reset right. After the relearn it was all fine.

Do it the same as I posted. Mine is a manual as well. If you just push the start button without pushing the clutch then it won't start. It will just turn on the ignition.
