I'd say not so much so for someone who hasn't done any upgrades to their car. However for someone like yourself and the awesome work you've put into your D, I'd highly recommend it.

The strut brace kit just ties everything together nicely and the turn-in/steering feel and response is just that much sweeter.

Not to question you, but why did you not decide on an aftermarket sway bar from Eibach or similar? Was it costs or did you just want to keep everything M3?

I ask this because I'm running the Eibach system and plan this mod (m3 control arms) in the future and was curious if there would be any complications.

No real reason other than to keep it all M3.
