I hate not having a dipstick. And when the cars engine is nice and warm, I hit the oil level button and it makes me wait for 15 seconds....like it is taking measurements......then goes back to the reqular screen like it could not take a reading.

As with former '08 128i, my '07 E91 displays the oil level within 2 seconds of the choosing the selection after warm-up. It then remains on the screen for about 15". Tom |

You can code your car to put the wipers back to rest even when you turn off your car when the wipers are still moving. BMW did this probably for a safety issue, just like how they don't allow you to roll up your windows with the keyfob. That also can be coded to work.

My pet peeves with the E93 so far
1- Passenger sun visor blocks some visibility and cant be removed. 2- Shifter, throttle, break pedal and clutch all a bit mushy but understandably not meant to be an all-out sports car. 3- Heavy as crap. 4- AC/Heater fans weak. 5- No volume levels. 6- The iDrive warning at start-up. 7- Convertible top requires holding the button and being in park. 8- Steering levers feel a bit mushy/plastic/unresponsive. I'd prefer a more mechanical ca-chink whenever I adjust a lever. 9- Poor visibility with top up. I'm sure there are more. I'm going to try and fix some of these issues with those little electrical system hack products and a little tinkering. |

No dipstick.
I had a leaking oil filter gasket and was leaking oil badly. Would never have known it if I hadn't taken it into the dealer for end of warranty check. (oil computer never reported anything other than maximum level and the bottom engine cover catches all the oil drippings I would have otherwise noticed.) |

It can be wired differently, where the motor always has a hot lead. A position sensor in the cam can allow the wipers to "park". I've seen that feature on cars before. Even my dad's 1958 Standard Super 10 did so it's not hard to do.

I hate how my all weather floor mats for my e92 have a strip of carpet on them that still wears off. It's like a partial all weather mat. The passenger side doesn't have this strip.

I reprogrammed my AC on in auto to stay off.
I reprogrammed my AC on in auto to stay off, unless I turn it on.
Its one of the easier safer things to do of the coding board options. My list of irritations are No dipstick(real dipstick) battery registration RFT's no spare weak stock radio/stereo which is expensive to fix The sensitivity on the rain sensor could be better and yes I know how to adjust it , It doesn't react to quickly due to raindrop size I think. Also seems to be dependent on if the car is moving. |

Does anyone even understand how the AC auto button works?
I don't understand the AC Auto button vs. Full Circle vs Full Circle with icon vs Off. It's stupid and I haven't read the manual...I just gave up on it. |

I hate how BMW deals with injector repair under warranty. First 3 went and dealer acknowledged that BMW knows the next three will go yet they won't do them all at once. They think its smarter to inconvenience the customer another time and make the dealer pay for another loaner. Ridiculous.

'Auto' button automatically controls fan speed and automatically redirects air streams (between windshield, center and foot well). The recirculation button has three settings: recirculation off (the fresh air is taken from the outside), recirculatioin on (the interior air is recirculated, no air us taken from the outside) and automatic recirculation (the air it taken from the outside, unless the air cleanliness sensor says it is dirty). |

Found another one today:
The audio source button on the steering wheel does not go to the AM source. For example, I have my iPhone connected via AUX. If I press the audio source button on my steering wheel, it will go from FM-AUX. I wanted it to go to FM-AM-AUX (FM for music, AM for news/sports, and AUX for my iPhone music). |

a few...
The bliming headlight washers on e92 coupes, why cant there be a seperate button for it? I just effin cleaned my car, was nice n sparkly...it's snowing in london atm so i just sprayed my windscreen to get rid of some ice and the headlight washers come on and spray my whole friken car... feel to rip the ba$%rd things out.
I also dont like how the unlock button on the key is so easy to press while its inside your pocket. I had to buy a leather pouch which now looks like i have a wonky boner. |
