Perfect! We ran the same times/mph but I'm 6MT on DRs. Gotta love the auto for drag racing.

I'd say its still got more in it considering the terrible 2.192 60ft. I just can't hook with my OEM RFT's, but I'm going to keep them until they are worn out as I am not an avid drag racer (despite that I have posted on this thread several times lol).

Even though the auto is more consistent than a manual, I still prefer a manual for everyday enjoyment. Whatever car I get next after my 135i, it will be a manual, but I honestly do not regret the auto on this platform as it is very stout until you upgrade the turbos.

Awesome time considering the launch! My lowest 60' on the runcraps was 2.02x but there's guys getting down into the high 1's. You do that you'll be in the 11s!

its a super fast time for a relatively slow 60'. Im sure you can do a solid 12 flat or lower

60' time from the steering wheel or Cobb are not very accurate, but 1/4 mile trap and time are pretty close to what you would see at the strip.

1) Model and Transmission 2008 135i Steptronic
2) Elevation, Temp and Humidity Sea Level, 60 degrees Fahrenheit, not sure on humidity
3) All performance modifications done to the carCobb Stage 2+ E30 maps, Helix FMIC, Raceland downpipes
4) Level of gas ran and how much gas in the tank? (ex: 93 octane and 1/4 of a tank)1/4 tank of pump 93 octane and E85 mix
5) Any weight reduction done to the car?? (ex: removal of rear seats)NONE
4) Type of tires and rims??Stock Bridgestone Runflat tires
5) Years of driving the type of transmission?? (this goes for mainly manual transmission, so if you are relatively new and are an "ok" driver let us know, this def makes a difference)About a year and half
6) Obviously some type of proof of your 0-60 time, trap speed and finally quarter mile time. Preferably some video or slip or link to the drag time slip website to your direct slip.

First run I was on the recently released v403, then I flashed back to v402 and ran it half an hour later to see if there was any difference. My previous 12.158@118.50 with a 2.192 60ft was also on v402. Damn you Kcyrusm...I am almost right there with you on stock runflats except I am still on stock intake and using a Cobb OTS map instead of a protune.

You're going from 1st gear in the steptronic? Ever try a run with 2nd gear?

No, all of my runs started from 2nd gear without brake torquing as well. 1st gear is useless in my car.

Yeah, in all of my runs posted in this thread, they have all been off idle. No brake torquing whatsoever as I'm an idiot and will overpower them with ease. Maybe when I get rid of the runflats, I'll try again and see if I have better luck hooking with that procedure.

Yeah I've gotten my 60' down to 2.02 with M2 and loading the converter to about 2k rpm. I was on stock runflats but will put pilot super sports on in the spring. Perhaps hooking will be easier. Seemed like my first run was always best and I'm wondering if it was due to the cold temps as the night went on. Launches went to crap below 60 deg.

1) 2008 E92 335XI AT
2) Sea level, 65F, 70% humidity
3) JB4 MAP 3 (Meth Map), BMW Meth, AR Catless Downpipes, AE Full Exhaust, AFE Intake, Meth Elbow, ETS 5 FMIC,
4) 3/4 tank 90 octane mixed with a 20oz bottle of TORCO (keep in mind I was running meth to help boost our shitty octane in Alaska)
5) Full weight, estimated at 4,100 pounds, (Vin sticker says 4,090)
4) Staggered 19" VMRV718 with Continental Extreme Contact DWS
5) 8 years worth of drag racing, 7 of which were with a 04 6 speed STi. Best 60' time ever was 1.66 in the 6 speed. This is my first time ever launching an automatic car (Very different).

Vehicle was left in auto sport mode and launched from 1st gear. The AWD hooked up nicely and was happy with the 60' times. Below are the time slips, literally back to back. Keep in mind I was dumb enough to leave the DTC control ON, so on my 3rd run when the octane may have kicked in when the tires chirped coming into second, the DTC screwed everything up, that run was going to be at least a 12.4, felt good too, was kicking myself in the ass. Considering the weight of the vehicle I was happy with the times though.

Forgot to post my new best in this thread.

1) 2009 335i with Automatic Transmission.
2) 21 feet above sea level. Temp: DA was around 905 for this run.
3) JB4 and BMS DCI.
4) E85 mixed with 93 octane (approximately E40).
5) No weight reduction.
4) Stock sport wheels with Falken Azenis 722 street tires.
5) Car is an auto.

Other info: The car weighed in at 3,532 lbs without me, and 3,732 lbs with me in it. I had a 1/4 tank of gas in the car. All runs were started in 2nd gear with a brake boost.

Slip:

Managed a 12.2 later in the day, but the IAT was getting pretty high on the top end of the track and it was causing me to lose boost, and probably timing as well.
