after a wrapping my roof, interior, window trim and diffuser, i think if i were to order again, i would ask for my car color alpine white instead and just wrap it matte black. this way if i get tired of it, i can just remove the vinyl and have AW color since AW doesnt come in vinyl.

if he doesnt do Matte Black anymore, i would be willing to swap mine for an AW.

i did my turn of plasti dip too but i can never get used to the roughness of it thats why i like vinyl wrap instead. did my window trim plasti dipped then took it off to wrap it.

Bought one from another eBay vendor for $58. Yes I have no loyalty for $1 since it's all the same.

Could you post a pic or two of the matte black version. Is it acually painted matte black or is it just bare black plastic? Thanks.

Here's the reply from the seller yesterday to my question;

"It's no problem to paint matt black for you.
But please note there won't have clearcoat for the matt black.

if you can accept it, please place the order in this listing and note me the color you want is matt black, and i will proceed your color correctly.

I'll post pic tomorrow since dark out here already. It was painted black without clear coat and not just the plastic. The sellers reply posted up there was the same reply I got and the product was pretty dead on what he described.

Trying to keep this inspirational thread alive! I just ordered one from this same ebay seller (emotors2000) in black sapphire metallic/BSM (paint code 475) for my e92 328. I will post some pics once installed.

Questions though, what looks better....installed flush with the end of the trunk or 1/4" forward like some were saying in this thread? Is there any particular reason to go 1/4" forward other than the fact that's how it's installed by the factory on the M3?

Link to new listing for this spoiler in BSM:

I'm also wondering the above question? 1/4" or flush? Mine just came in today and only took 4 days from Taiwan to Maryland. Can't wait to install tonight. Quality and color are all there!

Can you take a picture of the bottom? I just want to see how much tape you used for the spoiler. Thanks.

Sorry man already put it on. I had left over tape on the roll you get with the package. I just did 1 strip and it comes with 2 triangular shaped pieces for the corners. Remember to put like masking tape over the spoiler after install to hold it in place for a while. I kept it over night around 11 hours on and it was great.

Great. I was worried that it would flex, poor fitment, fall off etc. Going to Home Depot to buy some painter's tape then. Just added the 3M tape to the spoiler. Will install either in the afternoon or tomorrow.

Yea you'll be good. Put the spoiler on and mark with tape where you want it so you can line it up before peeling off the tape.
