Lowering my M?

Hey guys I need your help. I have been considering lowering my M3. Its a E46. I was going to do Koni adjustable shocks with H&R Sport springs. Now I dont want to lower it to much. Do you think these type of springs would be to much? Also what do I need to know about lower my car anything specific?

You should go on H&R website. I think they give an estimate drop with each spring they sell.

I know on my E34, H&R springs are considered the roughest ride of them all...not sure if that compares or not though.

No website like this for your E46?

I had H&R's on my E46 M3. Ride was pretty firm but not obtrusive. Pretty good for the money.

Why not do coilovers, that way you can set the ride height exactly where you want it for whatever you are doing?

Otherwise the most moderate drops are always a characteristic of Dinan's setup.

If you don't want to fork over the cash for coilovers. I would go with the Eibach pro-kit. A friend of mine has the pro-kit springs on his car and the ride is amazing, and the stance of the car looks really really good as well. I'll see if I can dig up a pic

PM Me for pricing on anything and I'll see what I can do for you!

I dont have the money to do the coilovers and I got a gift card to a shop and can get the springs for free.

How much does the Eibach pro-kit lower the car, front and back?
