I'm the proud new owner of an '08 335i coupe. I've been researching these cars for the last couple months, man did I make a great choice! I traded in my '02 vette for this and I couldn't be happier. I'm trying to find out where and when the meets are in the Tampa, Brandon area. Is there anyone who can help me out? I'm proud to join the ranks.

Welcome! I hope you'll be a little more active than the other bay area guys. I get kinda lonely being the only 335 at the meets. Check out floridagerman.com. Its based in the Tampa Bay area and we are always meeting up and doing something. The tue. night meets are pretty fun.

Thanks for the quick reply. I look forward to getting in to these meets. With the vette, I had groups of 50 yr olds to hang with...yeah... not gonna happen. Let me know when you guys are going to meet up and where to meet. I'm gonna check out floridagerman.com. Thanks again man

There is the 4th annual Euro Treffen event going on this sunday. Mainly vw's but its a Euro event so there will be bmw's as well. I went to the last event which was fixxfest at Bradenton and there had to have been over 200 cars there. Not sure if im gonna be making this event but maybe I can work something out if theres enough E90 support from here

Of course it would be this weekend, the weekend that I have to drill in JAX. is there a schedule or anything? Thanks man for looking out. Next time I'll just resched my weekend for drill. I really want to get to one of these meets. Let me know when the next one will be.

1clean335i, do you know when the next meet will be in our area? You've started an uproar of Tampa enthusiasts. If there isn't one in the near future, maybe we can all decide on a good place and that way we can put faces to names, you know do the ol' meet 'n' greet. What do you guys think?

we meet up atleast once a week over on floridagerman.com. they're usually just small little get togethers. last night there were around 10-12 cars that came out. i was the only e90. there was an e39 m5, e39 540i, c55, 2 audi a4's, 2 or 3 e46's, etc.

i dont think there will be anything big going on until the new year though. we can do a little e90 meet if there is enough interest though i've been wanting to do one and have a little e90 photoshoot but havent found the right date for it yet.

I went there in October I think. Wasnt too impressed with the way it was prepped. I had no traction whatsoever in first and sometimes even second at the track. Tried DTC off, DSC off. This was with my daily/street wheels and tires. 19" CSL's on 265 generals. I dont want to go back unless I have the drag radial set up I want.



This saturday though- Du Pont Registry's: Cars n Coffee event at their publishing headquarters if anyone is interested It's mainly for exotics likes ferrari's and lambo's but I always go and very welcomed to be there by everyone. Anyone interested?

that happens to me with run flats tires. I have drag radials in my RX7 they stick really good.
