Yeah I just cancelled it for tonight. Conflicting forecasts of rain around the time we usually meet so decided we'll just cancel since it is also a Friday before a long weekend so I suspect turnout won't be that great anyway.

It will be next week. I can't make it tonight. People can always meet regardless though.

Also not sure about the weather situation but long term forecasts are nice for next Friday right now.

8:30pm Fridays, Leslie & Lakeshore.

The plan is to meet downtown, then head to the Woodbridge meet or York meet (alternating every week). This week it's Woodbridge. We meet at 8:30, have our own meet, then cruise to Woodbridge and join them.

A few of us downtown have decided to meet downtown, and drive up to the Southern York meet together. The plan is to meet at 8:30pm at Leslie & Lakeshore, then head North around 9:30pm or so.

It's always a pleasure meeting members (I'm fairly new myself, so I know no one), and thought it's probably better to drive North together.

Kind of funny cause I was going to see if the people attending the York Region meet wanted to do a 404/DVP mini cruise to meet up with you guys downtown. I know a few of the people have been asking about doing some sort of cruise but I haven't had time to plan out a decent one but figured a DVP run isn't too bad.

That's a great idea, but probably won't work...
Our downtown meet starts a bit earlier than yours, if you were to come this way after the York meet, I don't think anyone would be left downtown.
At least for this week, it sounds like there's a major gathering in Woodbridge, followed by a "midnight cruise".

I'd like to suggest the following:
Downtown members meet as usual, at 8:30ish, head to York meet around 9:30pm.
After hanging out at the York meet, cruise to the Woodbridge meet (arrive by 11-11:30). Those wishing to do the 4-hour midnight cruise, can continue on from there.

Thoughts?

I think that's actually a pretty good plan.

Unfortunately for me, I likely won't be able to make this meet or at least stay long. But I'm hoping people will still attend regardless cause the meets are about people in the community getting together to share ideas and stories. I know there are a couple of fairly regular attendees at the York meet who I'm hoping will still attend.

Updated first post. Not sure if anyone ended up showing up to the last one. Just wanted everyone to note that this will likely be my last meet for a while so if someone wants to take over organizing please let me know, otherwise the meets will be temporarily suspended for a few months at least. People can head out to the downtown (Fridays) / Heartland (Thursdays) meets as well.
