Possible to enable voice commands 535i?
My 2008 E60 has M-ask but it has the phone and voice command steering wheel buttons. Bluetooth calls work but the voice command does not. It prompts to say a command and that's all. I've heard that it's because I don't have CCC. Is it possible to enable this feature by coding or would a CCC swap be required? Also, same question but in a 2009 1 series with no Bluetooth.

your E60 should work. try saying "read phone book". you will not get the idrive version of voice command which is more versatile though. only simple calling voice commands. you cannot use the phone book in your phone. you need to use "store name" then read the numbers to store in the car....
your 1 series no chance for voice command.

ya, all E60 comes with the small screen idrive unless you have nav, then you get the bigger screen. i think that's the M-ASK over the CCC.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4802 i guess you would need nav pro to use the full set of voice commands. "radio on" so cool, oh well.
