Do you have an address or better directions to that?

100 oct is 8.49 there, 110 is leaded so it's not really useable with our engines I'm really curious where that one by rt 112 is, would love to check it out.. 5.99 sounds very nice edit: to be clear, exit 17 is where I go to usually, never been in the one off exit 36 <-- is it the one with 5.99 price?

It definitely has the 100 octane. My son (8YO) even asks me why I don't get it instead of my 93 octane. I had to explain to him the difference between $2/gallon and $7/gallon. You need to go to the Sunoco eastbound on 46. It is right past the BP, Lukoil and Exxon and right before the Hess. It is the second to last gas station on 46E before you get onto the GWB. |

This is great to read. I must of missed it or simply been at the wrong gas station. Ft Lee is 10 minutes from the Bronx and my tolls thankfully are paid for by my job- This station without a doubt will be my source from now =-)
Thanks again. |

Scott if u want to hold out for a week or so, our deal with Sunoco is almost finalized...I will be able to get my hands on whatever octane you want, and certainly cheaper than 7 a gallon!

============= Anti-Knock Index (AKI) In most countries, including all of those of Australia and Europe the "headline" octane rating shown on the pump is the RON, but in Canada, the United States and some other countries,[which?] the headline number is the average of the RON and the MON, called the Anti-Knock Index (AKI, and often written on pumps as (R+M)/2). It may also sometimes be called the Road Octane Number (RdON), Pump Octane Number (PON), or (R+M)/2. [edit] Difference between RON and AKI Because of the 8 to 10 point difference noted above, the octane rating shown in the United States is 4 to 5 points lower than the rating shown elsewhere in the world for the same fuel. 87 octane fuel, the "regular" gasoline in Canada and the US, would be 91-92 in Europe. However most European pumps deliver 95 (RON) as "regular", equivalent to 90–91 US AKI=(R+M)/2, and deliver 98, 99 or 100 (RON) (93-94 AKI) labeled as Super Unleaded - thus regular petrol sold in much of Europe corresponds to premium sold in the United States. ============== Last edited by OnlyTruth; 05-07-2010 at 11:18 AM.. |
