Engagement ring pic. Need opinions.

I wanted to come in here to get an unbiased opinion. Here is a pic of the engagement ring. What do you guys think of size and quality? Just want to make sure it's great for my girlfriend and need a sanity check.

It looks nice, but its hard to tell the quality from the photos without you listing any specs on it.

It looks like a big center stone, well over 1 carat? Although you could also have very tiny fingers, and it could be .5 carat.

Shit, it's not big enough. It's actually a 1.6 but I knew it looked smaller. UGH.

Over 1 carat, and you reach the point of diminishing returns on how big the stone looks.

That's a nice ring mate. Who cares how big it is. If you love her and she loves you, the size and clarity of the ring won't matter as much as you think.

Pictures online are a bit deceiving as to the size... Odd that you would start saying it's too small just because someone basically said the same thing.

Women notice different things than men, and a lot of it depends on lighting and other things. Showing us pics online isn't going to help. You need to ask people in person how it looks.

The point is if she like it not us. If she doesn't like a princess cut or a band with diamonds then it doesn't matter how nice it looks. If she loves that style and we don't like it then our opinion doesn't matter.
