I didn't know Jeff was doing 335ds! I have been using his stuff on TDIs for years. How does his tune compare to the JBD? Cost?

I would like to know as well the difference between the jb tune and rocketchip Jeff tuned all my tdi so I know he knows what he is doing...

I dont have dynos of JBD, I did one with the tune jeff put in but was on a main line dyno which they read very low, I think it read 296 Whp

So why did you sell the jb and go with rocketchip was it a performance thing or did you want jeff to tune your car for exhaust...Im deciding which one to get, for the money and just to gain power the jb is hard to beat even though I have never used one on any car before but had many cars tuned for the dpf cat egr delete...

The tune definitely feels stronger and no check engine light.

I want to do it but my bmw SM said no way it will void my warranty and these diesels seems to be a ticking time bomb with problems... I would love to try it though...

That's the wrong question to ask to your SM

they can't tell that your ECU Is tuned, unless you have big failure like turbos etc, in which case they will send your ECU somewhere where they can tell if is chipped.

But if you have some big failure like this you can just send your ECU to your tuner to be flash back to stock before you take it in to service.

My SM is my brother in law, he still said if I flash the ecu the can tell because you have to actually break into the ecu to have it flashed, he also said they have software to tell if it has been flashed back to stock, ill find out...rocketchip had to break into my 2010 ecu to flash it on my 09 tdi it could be done via the OBD port...he is not my actually SM but he is a bmw SM in a different state...
