5 BMW's in the driveway sure look cool, but are they even all yours?

If they are yours, how do you even drive them all?

If they aren't yours, why would you post them under your drives? To look cool?

I just had to ask a silly question as well

Just about to buy a roof rack and since i saw this thread, i might as well ask you fellow BMW owners.

Should i dish out a ton of $$$ for a thule roof rack system or just by the BMW base support system?

Thanks!

With everything I want, a Thule system is going to run me about $600-700.

I'd go for Thule, since the winter set-up has a capacity of 6 skis or 4 snowboards

lol my bad

Ya skis (roof box) and bikes are what I'm using it for!
But the thule bars are probably a lot stronger than the BMW ones from what the parts people are telling me. BMW is like 70 lbs max. And thules are more universal friendly for accessories/ attachments? I'm assuming?

Is it really more worth it to spend an extra $300 for the thule system?

thanks

If I were to go with the largest Thule roof box set-up. . . The 685BXT Atlantis 1200 the entire set-up with a 460R with 44" fairing is about $1200-1300.

If I were to go with the 92725 universal carrier set-up. . . 460R with 44" fairing. . . It'd be about $800.

You'd be better off buying an entire system of the same brand rather than mix and match parts IMO.

Anyways can't wait for snowboarding season!
