BMW Performance Control Arms.

Okay, I'm trying to figure this out.

I've been looking at the BMW accessory site, and I've been trying to figure out what exactly is different about the Performance Control Arms, vs the stock ones. There is a 15mm drop, and I'm just going to assume that the Perf Arms are PROBABLY lighter. As well as the bushings.

I've been searching for about 30 minutes now, but I couldn't find much.

Apologies if this has been covered already.

Those control arms are for the E46 (I have the 2006 performance catalog right here). It says:

Quote:
BMW Performance Control Arm
3 Series 1999-2006
For 330i without option ZHP, and
all other models with sport package.
The E46 coupe was still sold alongside the E90 sedan in 2006. North America didn't get the E90 coupe until 2007, so that's probably why its on the site.

If you are interested in upgrading your suspension with BMW performance and/or M3 parts you will get better info here on E90post and at the Tischer or HPAutowerks websites.

The initial release of the materials for the BMW Performance division was an Epic Fail. We can only hope that planning for the upcoming releases will be much better.

+1 to all of that. The Performance parts for the 335i have been a joke thus far. Hopefully they will get it together and offer something that actually improves the performance of the car.

is there any noticeable handling difference, considering the amount of money it costs?

That is a photo of an E46 front suspension, not E9X.

Like I said, Epic Fail.

Get the M3 control arms, if you know what it is that you want to do with your suspension.

Well, thats the point of this thread. I wanted to see what the differences were between the performance one, and the stock ones. Besides the 15 mm drop, and the others I posted in my first post.
