But the FRONT is where your going to notice a HUGE difference!! the sport will drop at least an inch compared to where ur at know!! ANd what made u go with B&G springs??? I think your the only one in this whole forum that has installed those???

wait for the springs to settle in a bit. Perhaps look into getting Mtech sideskirts.

I would go with spacers first. how much...depends on the gap you have right now. I would say 10, 12 or 15mm could all work depending on the space avail.
Here is my car on H&R sport. Exact same wheels, but these were M3 offset...which is what you will try to achieve by doing a spacer...and pushing the wheels out more.

see, it's ALL about the flush rims.
I don't know why more wheel vendors don't make more aggressive offsets for the e9x's - obviously we can run the M3 offsets with just a fender roll in the back, making some wheels that are just 2 or 3mm different would probably work no problem without a roll.... |

Right now, I have Advans RS racing with +20 offset on the rear. Fits with my fenders rolled. So, if you know the current offset of your wheels (I don't know what it is on the VMR's) then just do the math. Example. If the offset the the wheel is +35 then you can add a 15mm spacer to give the equivalent of +20. If you have +30...then 15mm spacer is too much. It would be the equivalent of +15. I hope that makes sense. I have offset +22 in the front...but the only reason it fits, is my M3 fenders (actually, I have room if I really wanted to move it out.)

^No. That should barely clear. . .
Depending on your drop. . . Might even want to go 10mm |
