H&R sports
Does anyone know if putting H&R sports on my 335xi coupe will void a warrenty? Just curious to see because i know i've seen a lot of cars lowered on the site.

It's advised to swap springs AND dampers, because the warranty on the dampers will be voided and you will have a broken damper soon. The original dampers are not designed to work with lowering springs and fail over time with them. I advise you to either upgrade the dampers at the same time or go for a coil-over kit. If you do the complete swap you end up with a stock set of dampers and springs you can either sell or keep to return your car to stock at a later point in time.

basically any part modified will void that part of the warranty. Put in H&R springs and your suspension warranty will be void.

No single modification will void your warranty. You are covered under the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act which requires a dealer to prove a modification caused a problem with the car before refusing warranty service. With that said, if you install aftermarket springs and try to get suspension bushings or shocks replaced under warranty, your dealer will refuse to do so and rightfully so. However, they cannot refuse to repair an unrelated warranty issue because you have aftermarket springs.
