How to update my firmware and maps????

Hi guys just wondering how do I update my firmware and maps. I have a 2009 e92 with cic idrive system. I own a cable for coding but im a noob to it so please help someone????

CIC maps needs FSC maps, it can be obtain from stealership or for example from me

Firmware update of CIC is not possible sorry, you need somebody near you with ICOM and optical MOST cable
