Vishnu exhaust installed!

Got my exhaust installed today. Distinct lower rumble. Much sportier/aggressive sound/feel to me. No rice. Still awaiting PROcede though. Supposed to arrive yesterday??? Late!!!!!!!!

BTW: This is my 1st aftermarket exhaust. Is the strange exhaust odor and mild "smoke" output normal just after fresh install? I assume this will burn away with time.

Awesome so will you be using the 1.5 map since you have the exhaust on there?

How is the drone if any at highway speeds?

The smell and smoke or normal. Well, I remember the smell in all my new exhausts more than smoke? The smell will go away soon enough?

I saw a stock SG today and it dawned on me that the stock exhaust tips are extremely small and conservative. I'm sure your 100s look fantastic. How would you rate it on the loudness scale?

Is map 1.5 recommended with this exhaust???

Loudness is greater by a significant degree, but appropriate. No major drone at cruise, but I would say that it does definitely change the feel of the car, now much unlike a sedan and much more like a sports car. That was what I was looking for. The true feel of this exhaust will be felt more appropriately with PROcede installed I suspect.

I really like the tip style but not the size.
They are too big for my liking.

They don't appear to be much bigger or different than the aftermarket tips on your 335i in your pics. What size are yours? Brand?

Double check with Shiv or Dustin but I believe the 1.5 map was created with the exhaust in mind. Yes you will definatley feel the difference when the proceed is installed.

Should have dyno'd before to baseline. My stock dyno was 273 rwhp and I was an 03/07 prod date. If you had pre 10/06, you will probably have a few more hp over me.
