That really sucks. I guess n51 has terrible gas mileage then.

My X5 gets like 270 miles on a 24 gallon tank, lol. But its 5400lbs and an automatic...

Yup mines an auto awd and I thought I was getting a lot less than my friends

Garage List
There are many factors that determine MPG for any given vehicle, from driver habits to the mix of city versus highway travel. If anyone really wants to know about a given auto and given driving mix of that auto, go here:

Fueleconomy.gov

Even though it's a .gov site, and therefore carries that "what do they know" stigma, it's actually very accurate for every vehicle I've ever plugged in there, and it keeps getting better as they tweak how mileage is calculated. Best of all is the ability to change the mix of city versus driving percentage in the personalization settings, which then changes how it calculates your combined mileage.

Good example: I plug in 90% highway, 10% city on my 2009 335i auto, and it nails it it at 17/25/26. Last I checked at the pump I calculated just under 25 MPG with the 90/10 split I typically drive (affected obviously by accident-causing stop and go traffic).

i usually get around 250 miles per tank with my Stage 2 335is. The avg mpg on the computer says 15mpg. I do drive it hard though.

I am averaging 30.9mpg @ 65.5mph on the trips between Dallas and San Antonio. The tank usually lasts ~450 miles IIRC.

The 330i now has 110,000 miles.

I love this car. Best I've ever owned.
