For about 30 minutes I thought I was losing my mind... I've had a low fluid light for about six months now because I've been too lazy to top it off.


Finally today I purchase some windshield wiper fluid and when I pop my hood for the life of me I can not find the fluid reservoir. I spend 20 minutes looking for it and then I get online onto the 335i manual to make sure I'm looking in the correct spot which I was.... the damn reservoir just isn't there...

Is it possible the shop I take my car too stole my reservoir???? Is this an easy fix? I'm dumbfounded right now.

they would have had to take off your fender. I don't know why they would take it they cant cost more than 100 dollars it probably cost more in labor to get that thing out. But honestly I would reconsider the shop I go to if I think they may have take something from my car.

post a pic of your engine bay we will tell you if your missing something

windshield reservoir is on the passenger side under the fender.

Yea someone prob skipped your wheels, and whatever else u have on your car and went straight for the windshield washer reservoir...fucking thieves

One of 3 options:

I'm offically blind
Someone was high and stole my reservoir
It fell off?

I have no idea but I'm about to post some photos in a second hopefully someone can help me out

Maybe someone used it as a meth tank and removed it before selling? See my meth install pics.

Some crazy shit would have to occur before it could "fall off" considering its sealed between the sub frame and the fender

I am the original owner of this car and have never had a meth kit on the car.

The most likely scenario now that I think about it is someone at this shop assuming they are the only ones who have worked on your car broke the neck (place where you fill) off and neglected to tell you.

nope its missing my money says they broke it off next step is remove the fender only takes 20 mins(if that) and go.. we all want to know what happens

if its still there you could go to the shop and ask them to replace it because they are the only people who have serviced your vehicle

Remove the fender before I take it into them? I'm pretty pissed off right now....

Its obviously missing just look at the bracket above the strut. The reservoir fill is attached to it.

I guess thats up to you but at least that way you would know if its completely missing or just broken

Remove the fender , or the fender liner? You can see the hose/neck of the filler if you look behind your wheel through the wheel well. But my guess is yours is gone.
