Those two items should be easily confirmed if you have pictures of it; but your local dealer can run a build sheet on it w/ the last 7 of the VIN.

Sports package is easy to spot. If you have wheels like these, then you have sports package:

Premium package is a little trickier. The easiest way is to look to see if you have the round lumbar support adjustment button on the bottom of the seat:

If you have the button, then you have Premium Package.

Post above is helpful. Something that helped me as well was the garage door opener under the rear view mirror too.

Yes, it should have both. (It has sports seats and heated seats w/ lumbar. I think these signify both right?)

It has Special defect code Title. My wife's car had been in an accident. My car had Performance Power Kit installed (in a car that doesn't have the sports package.) This is supposed to void my warranty...

In that picture it looks phenomenal.

That pic is from a BMW brochure - heavily post-processed no doubt...

As it may be, the wheels are the important part

Nope, it's possible to get the sports package with other wheel packages (e.g. 162's on the 4-dr)

IMHO the easiest way to tell whether the car has sports package is to look at the steering wheel (please correct me if I'm wrong).

My e90 has the 162 wheels and sports package. Another way, besides looking for the paddle shifters is if it has sport seats.

Paddle shifters are a separate $100 option. Presence or absence of paddle shifters does not tell you about the sport package.
