That's honesty what I thought. But when I added the extended maintenance plan when I bought the car I specifically asked if the clutch was covered and they said yes one clutch replacement is covered. Again this is through the extended maintenance package not the drivetrain warranty. So hell I'll give it a try and if I do not succeed I'll just go aftermarket. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

You know, I have to thank Shiv because reading all the posts of how my MT6 car just can't handle putting down all of the power is almost bitter sweet. Most of you have talked shit about us AT6 drivers who don't know what gear we are in, but today with all the torque it really just doesn't matter... Haha... We can put down the torque when ever we want... I just hope my converter holds up to the abuse... Only time will tell.. But until then, you all can watch me pull away as you baby your slipping clutches... Hahahaha

Well I'm kinda glad that the clutch went now. Car is about to undergo a massive upgrade (m3 suspension, LSD, RB turbos) so I'll just throw the clutch in there as well.

It would only be to reduce torque. But there are other ways to reduce torque (ie, just dropping boost/timing). I don't think it makes sense to disable meth.

Eh, not smart to load the motor in a high gear. The N54 is a strong motor but on other similar platforms (MS3 comes to mind) the motors will pop when put under load in a high gear.
I tend to be in the lowest possible gear before going WOT though, it's about as routine to me as breathing is.
