Firstly, congrats OP graph looks great, loads of power nice and smooth aswell.
Unlucky with GTR encounter, That has got to be the 1% of cars on the road that could walk a 400bhp 335! Anyone have any tales against 911's or other properly quick cars? I had an accidental race against a focus st at some traffic lights, I was in the middle of 3 lanes needing to get in the left lane, but he though it would good to defend. 2nd gear and bye bye ford Cant imagine what another 40 odd bhp would be like. |

Blast down back roads and then Mway entrance ramp. Probably took 3 car lengths off me from 40-110+ you should've seen the look on his face after tho!! Had a play with a lotus Elise last night on a very twisty wet road. Lost a little in the bends but when the short straights came it was farcical how easily I caught up. If I was in the lead they would've had no chance..

Stock 996T vs FBO 335i + meth, rolling, would see the 335i pull it if you take into account torque/bhp/weight figures however, what does a mapped or FBO 996T go to?
997T is another league, near 500bhp so call it RB turbo's or the like + meth to match it stock. |

I can slowly see myself spending fortunes on this car. Ok so I carry 150kg+ more than you Coupe guys with my fancy folding top but I'm sure I can still make this a beast in a straight line .

Although it might be a bit too much to describe a focus ST as properly quick (unless it has been properly modified). |

Well I'll see what COBB hatch and go from there, Stage 2+ sounds like a nice place to be though while they sort it out.
Haha! I bought the E93 so I'd be less tempted to tweak it, now all I want to so is wind it up and hear a nice exhaust note in the open air. |

One thing I didn't mention was that Imran noticed that whilst the stage 2 software was asking for 14psi it was only boosting a max of just over 12. He assumed this was the natural pressure drop of the ETS intercooler rather than a boost leak.
Anyone else notice a pressure drop with this intercooler? Also I'd be interested to run some data logs via the BT cable but clueless as to how to did it, Is it easy to do? |

Yeah, the set target psi for the stage 2 is 14 psi but I only made 12. As I said he hasn't got much experience of the ETS unit so wasn't sure if it was natural pressure drop that I was seeing or a boost leak. He did say if it was a boost leak the dyno graph wouldn't be as it was. Is a near 2 psi drop normal for the ETS unit or do I have a small leak somewhere? I'll look at the link and run some logs today, I take it this will show boost levels? |

My first post here. Have been on this forum since 2007 but I’m more a reader than a poster. Recently I also ordered the evolve flash for my 335i and I’m very happy with it. When I ordered it was called stage 3 but when I received the file it was called stage 2. Nevertheless according to Imran the file that I received was specifically made for the mods that I have and the power is there. I went form 265 stock to 350 whp (calculated to 420 flywheel) with the flash. But the thing that made we post here is that I was told that my stage 3 file is a 13 PSI file. This is correct as my shop logged it during the dyno with the BT cable. So I think it is strange that 335i E92’s stage 2 file should be 14 PSI. Perhaps Imran can collaborate on this. Again I’m very happy with the evolve flash and can’t wait till they finalize the higher PSI map that I also ordered. This map should run between 15 to 17 PSI according to Imran. MRJCB |

I would speak to Imran to clarify what map you're running. |

Seems I might have a small leak then, I'm gonna get it dyno'd next weekend again to double check what boost I'm reaching. I've done a couple of searches but can't see any local dealers that advertise boost leak testing. I've heard the smoke test is a good test to do, u any idea who offers this or any other reliable test in the UK? Cheers H |
