Picked up the bumpers from the body shop today. Another thing to add to the part list is the cover for the oil cooler on the fender liner if you don't have one already. I don't have an oil cooler on my car and the msport package has a big hole for the air to get to the cooler. Because of me not having one it would have just been a huge open space so I went to the dealership and ordered one for like $20. Just a heads up for those doing the retrofit. I'm going to try to tackle the install with a friend tomorrow, here's pics of the painted bumpers and the oem retrofit parts

Edit: Part number for the oil cooler ducting is 51717161436

So from my understanding is that you went ahead and ordered all extra parts instead of trying to avoid buying them. Let us know how it went.

Finally finished today and it was such a headache. We started at 1 and spent probably 10 hours. The problem is we kept running into minor hiccups that caused issues. First the lower grilles wouldn't snap in so we had to trim the clips a bit then they fit in perfect. After that we had to convert the h8 fogs to 9006. I stupidly bought the BMW conversion socket instead of the aftermarket plug and play conversion cable and getting the wires out of the H8 were awful. We wound up breaking the connector off of one side and now I don't have working fogs... I'll be going to the shop I use in a week or two though and they'll be fixing that.

Other than that everything came out decently. Fender liners are definitely different along with the brake ducts so I think you definitely need those. I didn't use either adapter but the holes on the belly pan didn't line up with the bumper. I just left the belly pan resting on the bumper for now until I go to the shop and i'll let them figure out how to either use the adapters or drill some holes. I just couldn't figure out how the adaptor was supposed to go in since my pan was different then the one in the instructions. Anyways here's the pics. We also swapped back to the summer wheels while we were at it. I gotta go in and raise the front a bit tomorrow otherwise they're going to rub everywhere.

Hahaha that's my buddy who drives an Sti i'll let him know you said that he'll like it. He raced in the skip barber summer series last year and is doing the same this year and is an amazing driver. His STi is stage 2 and pretty quick.

Install isn't that hard I made it much harder than it had to be. Most things bolted right up with the new brake ducts, fender liners, etc... I couldn't figure out the underbody adapter though so i'm just bringing it with me to the shop and letting them figure out how to do it. I just left the pan resting above the bumper for now since its secure on the sides. If you do it i'd get the adapters for the fogs from modmy3 and not do the ones through BMW. It did not end well at all...

Here's the rear which we finished today. Hardest part of rear is taking off the stock bumper then putting the new one on is really easy and it just fits on. Anyways onto the pics of the rear. I'll do a proper photoshoot whenever I get a chance to wash it although I don't think you're supposed to do that to new paint for a while... I'm gonna PM you later about that though.

Hahaha I had to raise it... Check the photo section I posted some pics from today. I need it raised at least until I can roll the fenders and or get something to protect the bottom of the front bumper. It's at 1 finger gap up front maybe less and 1 finger gap in the back maybe more

To take off the bumper I used the diy on here then putting it back on is the reverse steps. Other stuff like doing the brake ducts and fender liners are very self explanatory and just unscrew, replace part, screw back in

So by the pictures above it looks like the LCI still needs the different finder liners and stuff. Correct me if I am wrong please.

Yes as I posted in your thread. You need the fender liners and brake ducts, that is it.

I just put an order for my Mtech bumpers from JG mods for my LCI. So the list on their website for the front bumper is pretty much correct I assume.

Are there any additional parts needed for the rear bumper?

EDIT: Just saw your post in the other thread. So I'll be needing:

Front Left Brake Air Duct 51747891379
Front Right Brake Air Duct 51747891380
Cover, Bottom Left 51717892801
Cover, Bottom Right 51717892802

At least, for the front.

Yes that's all I needed for the front. I had ordered all the parts like underbody adaptors but never used them. You just have to drill new holes in the belly pan where the holes in the bumper are. For the rear I needed no parts.

Haha yea I know. I think it winds up coming out to $200, right? The whole conversion really made me wish I was just more patient when searching for a car and waited for one with msport. Hindsight is 20/20 though I guess

I just installed my kit from JGMods. Great fitment on my 2011 LCI E90. Although I did have some troubles with the fender liners.

- I ordered two different fender liners 51717892803 + 51717892804 according to ECS Tuning. Ordered the same brake ducts mentioned earlier in the thread.

- Since I DO have an oil cooler, the new brake duct I ordered did not fit with the oil cooler. So on the passenger side I only installed the new fender liner.

- I had to cut out a little more out of the driver side fender liner to get the new brake duct to fit. I kinda ghetto rigged it with scissors and a dremel. Came out good!

- If you want to be perfect, for the rear bumper you'll need the M Sport bumper guides to fit the inside tabs of the bumper. I did it with the OEM bumper guides, which still work because the tabs inside will bend.

- Also I have no idea how the fog light is supposed to go into lower grilles since my kit didn't come with any screws and I don't know which kinda of screws I need. As of now I just have two big holes where the fog lights would be. More air for the oil cooler!

Hmm my part numbers were all for the oil cooler even though I don't have one. My passenger duct split to go to an oil cooler and the duct had a spot for the oil cooler. I even needed to purchase the cover since I didn't have one before. The fog lights were kinda hard but I wound up figuring out how to do them. Unfortunately can't remember if mine came with screws, i reused oem, or if I went out and bought some screws.

Interesting. I talked to one of the guys at ECS and he gave me those part #s which is why I got those fender liners instead.

So are you saying you have one air duct that goes to both the brakes and the oil cooler? My stock setup has two seperate air ducts, one for each. No idea how the M Sport is supposed to be set up. I ordered the two brake ducts we mentioned earlier (51747891380 + 51747891379) but those are definitely not big enough for the oil cooler also.

Yea it splits and goes half to the square for the brakes and the other half to the oil cooler. You can see it in the pic below (it's the one on the right)

Do you remember the part number on that? I got both of the air ducts we listed before but mine does not look like that. Weird

Oh yeah, do you remember what bulb size the fog light uses?

Edit: Just saw your first post and it looks like part #51747891384 instead of #51747891380. Guess I'll try that one.

Yea I got all my part numbers from the guys at Tischer on here. Fog lights for me were 9006 bulbs. If I were you i'd buy a plug and play adapter to convert the H8 to 9006. I did it the oem way of actually changing the connector and it was a huge headache...
