I would imagine it may take a while before spare parts start lying around, no?

I think not, the n55 manifold is easily obtainable, just figuring out the theory behind getting it to work is what I need.
I already know I can shoehorn a t3/t4 turbonetics or something in the stock location and weld a custom bracket to it - done deal. the issue is controlling it with the valvetronic, which I am just waiting for the n55 tunes to come out so then adaptation can be achieved i really think this is a better road. |

Why so much talk about ARMA - with nothing more than an prototype installation - an no one interessted in supercharging an e9x thinks about Scharper Turbotechnik (link) from germany who offers allready an supercharger-kit in their shop.

The shop from Schaper is under re-construction, but I have seen the kits in the shop earlier ... it brings the 325i (2.5ltr.) to 295HP and the 330i (3.0ltr.) to 370HP ... with 0.4bar boost ... and costs € 4.800,-- ... it is also avaliable for 525 / 530!

370 hp on a 330 would be pretty solid. But yeah, I see no E90 kits. Unless that's what's under construction?

Consider the following before purchasing any ARMA Supercharger kits for you vehicles.
1. The design is 20 years old. You need to constantly pump yellow grease to lubricate supercharger center shaft and bearings! Totally unreliable and noisy. Very easily to fail. Failed in my car 3 times in a year. They sent me bearings for free but I had to pay a lot for labor. 2. The company so called their US R&D office in Delaware is actually a “SHELL Company” which never exists. ( Already checked it with US business bureau ) 3. All their parts and tech support are made from Taiwan. Poorly designed and made by a bunch of back yard mechanics and so-called engineers hiding in Delaware R&D center which never exits, they fooled me when I purchased my kit. Another example of fake business wannabe. Supercharger units are poorly hand-made. 4. Their so called innovated-design Intercooler LEAKS! ( Tested in Water ) NOW YOU KNOW |
